Abstract
Based on the analysis of the molten metal structure and Al 2O 3 film. the whole process of nucleation and growth of gas (hydrogen) in aluminum inclusion hydrogen system were expounded and the mutual parasitic mechanism between inclusions and hydrogen in molten aluminum was proposed.The existence of inclusions was the key restrictive factor to be difficult for full gas removal. So inclusion removal from molten aluminum was the fundamental step of hydrogen removal.
