Abstract

Approaches to corrosion resistance of Mg alloy and its influencing factors were conducted. Characteristics of some corrosion resistant technologies for Mg alloy

including chemical conversion

anodizing oxidation

organic coating

electrochemical plating

laser surface treatment

ion implantation and physical vapor deposition

and structure with behavior of treated surface film layer were surveyed. The research status and applicable prospects of corrosion resistant technologies for Mg alloy were analyzed home and abroad.
