Abstract

Combining Rapid Prototyping with Manufacturing Technology for Ceramic Mould in Investment Casting is an effective method for rapidly making metal die. In order to further shorten production period and drop cost

a set of new spray forming technology for ceramic mold in investment casting was developed. The composition of the ceramic coating and technological parameters of the spray forming were studied. The experimental results show that the metal die has high quality and meets specified requirement.
