Abstract
The effects of vacuum sealing materials used in measuring system for the detection of liquid aluminum quality show that soft graphite has good chemical stability and no pollution for liquid aluminum at elevated temperature. Sealing and performance behaviors of the material can fully meet the measuring requirement for liquid aluminum. The soft graphite can be considered as an ideal vacuum thermal sealing material .
