TiC粒子间的结合力需通过搅拌产生的剪切力才能破坏
并随Mg液流动进入到Mg液中。机械搅拌可使TiC粒子在Mg液中均匀分布。
Abstract
The TiC p/Al billet is melted in molten Mg with different processing technologies. The results showed that TiC p/Al billet can not be melted in liquid Mg during holding time for 60 min at 800 ℃ without stirring while TiC p/Al billet can be melted in Mg melt with uniformly distributed TiC particle by mechanical stirring. The melting mechanism can be expounded as follows: molten Al matrix in the TiC p/Al billet diffuses into liquid Mg through convection and TiC particle bond is destroyed with uniform distribution in Mg melt by shearing during mechanical stirring.
