摘要
利用Mg Si二元合金结晶的特点
在普通重力铸造的条件下
制备了原位Mg2 Si/Mg复合材料
着重研究了Sb对复合材料中Mg2 Si增强相形态的影响。结果表明
在Mg 10Si合金中
加入质量分数为 0 .8%的Sb
不仅促进了Mg2 Si的均匀形核
而且Sb偏析于Mg2 Si的界面上
阻止了Mg2 Si的进一步长大。原位Mg2 Si的形态由粗大的树枝状转变成均匀分布的颗粒状
形成了较理想的Mg2 Si颗粒增强Mg基复合材料的组织。
Abstract
In-situ Mg 2Si/Mg composites were fabricated by conventional gravity casting based on the crystallization characteristics of Mg-Si binary alloy
focusing on the effects of Sb on morphology of Mg 2Si enhancing phase in the composites. The results show that addition of 0.8% Sb into Mg-10Si alloy can not only promote homogeneous nucleation of Mg 2Si enhancing phase but also restrain the further growth of Mg 2Si enhancing phase because of the segregation of Sb at the interface. Consequently
morphology of Mg 2Si enhancing phase transformed from coarse dendrite into uniformly dispersed particulate and Mg 2Si particulate reinforced Mg matrix composites with desirable microstructure are obtained.
