Abstract

Die casting Mg alloy for crankshaft house and wheel of motorcycle were investigated systemically. The results show that application of diecasting Mg alloy in motorcycle can be realized by analyzing the component service condition and failure type

establishing a component service model and analyzing service condition

redesigning the structure based on alloy performance

optimizing the simulation of production process and production of Mg alloy component as well as measuring the operation performance.
