electrolyte compound plating immersed in the different solutions including HCl

NaOH and NaCl was systematically exaimined by the full-soak corrosion testing.Results indicated that the Ni-P-nano TiO
2
compound plating possesses the higher corrosion resistance to acid
alkali and salt comparing with the Ni-P electrolyte plating.The corrosion resistance of the compound plating in salt and alkali solutions is superior to that in acid solution.The corrosion morphology of the compound plating belongs to uniformly corrosion shape in NaOH
NaCl and HCl solutions while belongs to pitting corrosion in H
2
SO
4
HNO
3
solutions.It is significantly important for improving the corrosion resistance to keep the integrality of the Ni-P-nano TiO
2
electrolyte compound plating in the erosion solution.
