Abstract
There are shrinkage porosity and crack in strip billet
which are the main reasons resulting in rejected castings during mill machining.Through the orthogonal testing for the relevant technological parameters in horizontal continuous casting
the mapping model of artificial neural network have been established using the data from the experiments.The optimization of the processing parameter matching was conducted to improve the billet quality and production yield with the help of the model combining with GA (genetic algorithm).
