Ti-48Al-2Cr-2Nb exhaust valves for CA4GE engine have been manufactured by centrifugally pouring the molten melt into preheated permanent mold in induction skull melting furnace.After HIP with 173 MPa at 1 270 ℃ for 4 hours
the microstructure is composed of double-phase structure
where γ phase with smaller size is uniformly distributed into near boundary.Tensile strength reaches 470 MPa at 815 ℃
increased by 100 MPa comparing with 370 MPa for as-cast structure
