as materials and Al powder as reducing agent. The effect mechanism of the electromagnetic stirring on the microstructure of CuCr alloy was analyzed. The calculated results show that the cooling process is the fast cooling of Newton Cooling. Electromagnetic stirring can improve the properties of the CuCr alloy by effectively inhibiting the growth of dendrite to refine grain size and homogenize the distribution of Cu and Cr in the alloy. The optimized stirring time is about 7 min because grain can not be effectively refined stirring time in excessively shorter
and in turn
it is easily generated composition segregation
