Microstructure and wear behavior of Al-Si-Fe alloy prepared by semi-solid squeezing casting have been analyzed. The results show that the alloy possesses fine and uniform microstructure and excellent wear resistance in which slide and abrasive wear are dominant in the wear behavior. The higher the squeezing ratio is
the better the wear resistance is. The weight loss of alloy is 50.98% of that of as-cast alloy under the condition of dry friction
while is 57.77 %of that of ones under the condition of lubricant conditon.
