stirring power and stirring time on A356 aluminum alloy semi-solid rheological slurry prepared by the complex method of traveling-wave electromagnetic stirring and low super-heat were discussed.It is found that the prepared A356 Al alloy semi-solid rheological slurry by the complex method can meet the requirements of rheological casting.Primary α-Al in the semi-slid slurry is more and more round and its grain size is finer with increasing in stirring power in the conditions of stirring time more than 6 s and pouring at temperature near to liquidus temperature.The optimized processing parameters have been obtained including stirring temperature of 630 ℃ and stirring power of 1.2 kW and stirring time of 6 s.
