Abstract
The origination of casting defects in the forehand plate of air-conditioner compressor for car in shell mold method was analyzed. The casting defects can be effectively eliminated by optimizing gating system
conducting secondary inoculation for liquid Fe and adjusting content and controlling the chemical composition of liquid Fe
to greatly improve the quality of the forehand plate.
