Abstract
The features of sodium silicate shell mold

mid-temperature wax-sol silicate colloid shell mold and low-temperature wax-sol silicate colloid shell mold have been compared. It is pointed out that the low-temperature wax-sol silicate colloid shell mold is suitable for the investment castings with common quality requirements
while mid-temperature wax-sol silicate colloid shell mold suitable for the small or super-small investment castings with high quality requirements. The key produce process is described in using low-temperature wax-sol silicate colloid shell mold.
