Abstract
Aiming at modeling and meshing deficiency of Procast software
three interface modes of preprocess software and Procast software have been approached. Data exchange program is written to process the interface of Pro/E
ANSYS software and Procast software by meshing aluminum alloy wheel simulation grid in low pressure casting
effectively solving the meshment of finite element grid of complicate parts in Meshcast software. By comparing the modes of modeling and meshing
it is a most efficient way to conduct simulation by using Pro/E modeling and meshing grid
and then transmitting exchanging data into Procast software based on data exchanging program
improving the speed and accuracy of simulation calculation.
