Abstract
The variation of density and viscosity of gallium melt and its microstructure evolution were investigated by measuring density and viscosity at different temperatures. The results reveal that the density of gallium is decreased and its volume is increased with raising temperature. Meanwhile
the viscosity of the gallium is increased with dropping the temperature to a threshold value at 180
