Numerical simulation of porous Al-Cu metaloceramics in squeezing-infiltration method has been conducted by the Procast software
and the experiment has been made. The results verify that solidified time and solid-liquid phase structure in numerical simulation results are well in agreement with that in the experiment and metallographic observation
showing the availability of the simplified model in simulation of porous Al-Cu metaloceramics in squeezing-infiltration method. The infiltrated formation of the Al-Cu metaloceramics is totally different from the formation of common alloys. The defects in the metaloceramics are attributed to the complexity of internal structure in porous metaloceramics performs.
