The Al-15Mg2Si and Al/15Mg2Si/Al2O3 gradient composites were prepared by introducing SiO2 particle into Al-15Mg2Si alloy in high frequency magnetic field.The effects of SiO2 particle on microstructure and mechanical properties of two kinds of composites were analyzed
and the hardness of the composites in radial was measured.The results indicate that the hardness of the composites in radial exhibits gradient distribution
meeting the demands of the composites with high intensity in outer layer and high flexibility in inner layer.
