冷坩埚连续熔凝法制备Ti47Al合金扁锭
摘要
研究了冷坩埚连续熔凝法制备的Ti47Al合金扁坯的表面质量、宏观和微观组织及力学性能。试验结果表明
扁坯的表面质量受电磁力的影响较大;试样经过一段生长区域后能形成平行于生长方向的柱状晶
但在试样的外侧有非定向的等轴晶区;定向晶粒由同一方向的片层组成
片层方向与抽拉方向平行或者成45°角;试样的宏观组织与表面颜色有准确的对应关系。压缩测试结果表明
定向凝固区域的试样比其他区域的试样具有更高的抗压强度。
Abstract
The surface morphology
macro-micro-hardness and compressive behavior of Ti47Al rectangular billets prepared by continuous melting and solidification with cold crucible have been investigated.The results indicate that the surface morphology of the rectangular billet is affected by electromagnetic force.The columnar crystal that is parallel to growth direction can be generated in the microstructure of the billets after a section of equiaxed or lathy grains
however
the undirectional equiaxed grain section can be observed in the outer-side of the billets.The directional structure in the billets consists of the lamellar structure that is parallel or nearby 45 °to the pulling direction.In addition
the microstructure of the billets is consistent with the surface color.The compressive testing reveals that the compressive strength of the billet at direction solidification region is superior to that of the other region ones.
