Microstructure and Solidification Mode of AlTiFeNiCuCrx High-entropy Alloy with Multi-Principal Elements[J]. Special Casting & Nonferrous Alloys, 2008,(S1):87-89.DOI:
The microstructure and solidification mode of AlTiFeNiCuCrx with different Cr content have been studied. The results show that
the alloys exhibit simple BCC and FCC phases due to high entropy effect. With increasing Cr content
the solidification mode of the alloys has a transition from hypoeutectic to hypereutectic. The matrix is composed of primary dendrite phase 、chrysanthemum-shaped eutectic structure and interdendrite phase rich in Cu.
