Effects of heat treatment on corrosion behavior of cast Al-Si-Mg alloy in NaCl solution were examined by immersion testing and electro-chemical analysis.The microstructure of the immersed alloy was observed by OM(optical microscope)and SEM(scanning electron microscope).Effect of heat treatment on corrosion behavior of the alloy was approached.The results show that the lowest corrosion current density in solution treated alloy can be obtained
