were prepared. The self-corrosion rates of the alloys were tested by measuring corrosion weight loss
hydrogen evolution rates were measured by water immersion technique
electrochemical behavior was examined by electrochemical method
and surface morphology of corrosion alloys was observed by SEM(scanning electron microscope). The results show that three aluminum alloy anodes have higher negative open circuit potentials
low self corrosion rates and low hydrogen evolution in the 5 mol/L solution. Moreover
with the increase of polarization potential
three anodes exhibit higher electrochemical activities.
