Numerical simulation of temperature field and grain structure in heated mould continuous casting Cu-10Al alloy was carried out by the Procast software based on established model on Pro/E platform.The results reveal that variation of temperature field and morphology evolution of solid-liquid interface can be accurately predicted by means of steady calculation in process of heated mould continuous casting.Meanwhile
transformation of equiaxed grain into columnar grain and competitive growth in columnar grain domain can be accurately visualized by the CAFE module.
