热挤压锑镁黄铜的显微组织及性能
摘要
通过热挤压方法制备出了切削性能和力学性能优良的无铅易切削锑镁黄铜棒
并对黄铜棒进行了淬火和时效处理。对热挤压态和淬火时效态锑镁黄铜进行显微组织分析、能谱分析
并对热挤压态黄铜棒进行了切削性能试验。结果表明
热挤压态黄铜的显微组织由被沿挤压方向拉长了的α相、β相、含锑和镁的化合物质点构成
其力学性能与HPb59-1黄铜相当
耐腐蚀性能略优于铅黄铜
耐磨性能略差于铅黄铜
切削加工性能与德国制造的无铅易切削黄铜接近。锑镁黄铜淬火后
通过时效的方法可以使含锑镁的金属间化合物均匀细小地析出
从而达到改善黄铜切削性能的目的。无铅易切削锑镁黄铜完全可以替代HPb59-1黄铜
从而在不增加成本的基础上实现无铅化
以保护环境。
Abstract
A new free-cutting brass bar with lead free and Sb and Mg was prepared by hot extrusion
which was further treated by quenching and aging.Microstructure of hot extruded and quenched and aged brass was observed by EPMA(electron probe microscopic analyzer) and EDS(energy dispersive spectrometer)
and cutting behavior of the hot extruded brass was examined by the tensile testing and lathe turning.The results indicate that the microstructure of the hot extruded brass containing Sb and Mg is composed of α phase
β phase and metallic compound with Sb and Mg
and it is equivalent to HPb59-1 brass in mechanical properties and is superior to the HPb59-1 brass in corrosion resistance as well as lower in wear resistance and close to brass with lead free from the German in cutting-free performance.The cutting-free behavior of the quenched brass with lead free can be obviously improved after aging treatment as a result of precipitation of uniformly distributed fine metallic compound with Sb and Mg.So
the cutting-free brass with lead free and Sb and Mg can replace HPb59-1 brass in production
realizing circumstance protection with the same economic cost.
