Effects of environmental humidity and pouring temperature on the hydrogen absorption in aluminum melt were examined by pressure-reduction solidification method. The results show that with a given humidity
hydrogen content in aluminum melt is increased with increasing in temperature
while with a given pouring temperature
hydrogen content is increased with increasing in humidity also. Theoretical hydrogen partial pressure was estimated by means of relative theory with a fixed environmental humidity and pouring temperature
which was comparatively analyze with actual hydrogen partial pressure from experiment
obtaining the ratio of hydrogen to the aluminum melt.
