扳手压铸模浇注排溢系统优化设计
摘要
针对依据经验设计的锌合金水龙头扳手压铸模的浇注排溢系统在试模中产生的铸件表面气泡和内部缩孔等缺陷
从铸件的结构特点及缺陷产生机理等方面
分析了浇注排溢系统结构及尺寸设计对金属液填充流动及铸件缺陷形成的影响关系。并应用ProCAST软件
对金属液填充流动及缺陷形成过程进行了数值模拟。在此基础上
结合压铸理论分析
对压铸模浇注排溢系统进行了优化设计。结果表明
采用扩张式变截面侧浇道和较宽的内浇道
可使长宽比较大的扳手类压铸模型腔填充时
金属液流态合理
避免产生严重的喷溅与涡流
有效地消除了压铸件的表面及内部缺陷。
Abstract
Some defects
such as surface gas bubble and internal shrinkage hole in trial-production die casting Zn alloy faucet wrench were observed due to pouring-exhausting-flooding system designed by experience.So effects of structure and size design of pouring-exhausting-flooding system on filling and defects formation were analyzed based on wrench structure features and defects forming mechanism.Meanwhile
filling and defects formation in die casting were simulated by means of the Procast software.On the basis of simulated results
combining with die casting theory
design of pouring-exhausting-flooding system of the die casting die was optimized.The results indicate that surface gas bubble and internal shrinkage hole in the wrench can be greatly eliminated as a result of avoiding serious splash and eddy by adopting an expanding side runner with variable cross section and a wider ingate to obtain a desirable filling in cavity of wrench die with ratio of high length to width
meeting quality requirement for the castings.
