Cu cladding aluminum wire with different diameters was prepared by static hydraulic extruding and drawing-pulling continuous casting Cu cladding aluminum billets. The prepared wire has the features of smooth surface and indentation free as well as crack free. Microstructure and properties of bars
extruded products and drawing-pulled products were investigated. The results indicate that
with a given Cu cladding Al ratio
the grain size in the extruded-drawn-pulled wire is further refined
and absence of intermetallic compound in interface of Cu and Al can be observed
meanwhile
the appearance
electric conductivity and mechanical properties of the prepared wire can meet the national standards
