为研究稀土元素Nd对Mg-Zn合金显微组织和力学性能的影响,在ZMgZn4合金中分别加入0.4%、0.8%、1.2%的稀土元素Nd,观察分析了试样的显微组织,测量了平均晶粒直径,并测定了合金的力学性能。结果表明,当ZMgZn4合金中Nd含量为1.2%时,其晶粒最细,力学性能最佳,平均晶粒直径由145μm减小到42μm,布氏硬度由76增加到87,伸长率由5.3%提高到9.3%,抗拉强度由149MPa提高到169MPa。
Effects of different Nd additions, such as 0.4%, 0.8% and 1.2%, on microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-Zn alloy were investigated by observing microstructure, measuring average diameter of the grain size and testing hardness and tensile strength. The results reveal that the finest grain size and desirable mechanical properties can be observed in the Mg-Zn alloy with 1.2% Nd addition, in which the average grain diameters are decreased from 145 μm to 42 μm, and hardness (HB), elongation and tensile strength are increased from 76 to 87, from 5.3% to 9.3% and from 149 MPa to 169 MPa, respectively.
