应用三维有限元法对铝合金锭接锭挤压过程进行了详细分析
探讨了挤压过程中金属的流动规律及横向焊缝的形成过程。模拟结果显示
挤压过程中金属表现为不均匀的流变行为;在新旧坯料接触顶端形成了一个空隙;同时在高压及剪切变形作用下
新旧坯料接触面形成了一条横向焊缝;讨论了横向焊缝质量的影响因素。模拟分析表明
通过改变平锥模的锥面长度
可有效缩短包含横向焊缝的制品长度。
Abstract
Flow behavior and formation of transverse welding joint of aluminum alloy during billet-to-billet extrusion process were investigated by the 3D finite element method.The results show that
the aluminum alloy exhibits heterogeneous rheo-forming behavior during extrusion process
and a gas gap is formed at the interface top of new billet and old billet.Meanwhile
a transverse welding joint can be observed at interface in role of high pressure and shearing deformation.Factors influencing quality of transverse welding joint were described.The simulated results reveal that the product length with transverse welding joint can be greatly shortened by adjusting length of cone surface of the flat cone die.
