Sol-gel forming is a desirable technology for preparing ceramic mold with homogeneous composition and complex structure. Effects of different solid content
particle rate and additive on performance of ceramic core were investigated
and effects of pH value on fluidity of slurry were analyzed to decrease slurry viscosity and improve the solid content. Al2O3 ceramic slurry with 58% solid content and 0.086 Pa·s viscosity was successfully prepared. Green strength of formed billets can reach up to 34MPa
fully meeting the requirements of next production.
