使用Y2O3坩埚进行纯Ti的真空感应熔炼试验

分析了所得纯Ti铸锭的成分、显微组织、力学性能以及坩埚与熔体的接触面。研究发现铸锭中存在一些Y2O3颗粒

Y2O3与纯Ti没有发生化学反应

坩埚与熔体的主要作用机制是熔体对坩埚的机械侵蚀和Y2O3在金属液中的溶解。

Abstract

The Y2O3 crucible was applied for vacuum induction melting of pure Ti.Chemical composition

microstructure

mechanical properties of prepared Ti and metal/crucible contacted interface were analyzed.Some Y2O3 particle in the ingot can be observed

showing the absence of reaction of Y2O3 and pure Ti.The interaction mechanism of crucible and melt is characterized by physical erosion of the crucible by the melt and the dissolution of Y2O3 in the liquid Ti.
