Abstract
Construction of ceramic network with complicated topological structure was successfully realized by joining 99% Al2O3 ceramic green billets with conventional ceramic slurry.Microstructure of bonding interface of ceramic network was characterized by SEM(scanning electron microscope).The results show that the thickness of middle layer is approximately 250 μm
and the ceramic network exhibits desirable mechanical properties.Liquid aluminum alloy was infiltrated into the constructed network by pressure infiltration processing to obtain the 3D co-continuous composites.The fabricated composites exhibit the features of light weight and high strength.
