Abstract

According to the structural characteristics of the intermediate case and the production conditions of the company

the investment casting process and production flow chart for intermediate case were designed. The production results show that rapid prototyping manufacturing can reduce the cost of mould making and shorten manufacturing cycle.Separated-shell making and integrated casting can reduce the labor intensity and the impact of device limitation.Through binding iron wire

using external chill and burying the mold shell in sand box

the intermediate case was produced successfully.
