Abstract

The structure of a complex aluminum alloy housing parts was analyzed

and the metal gravity casting process was adopted.Firstly

the mold structure design of machine die was carried out according to the initial casting process scheme. After the actual verification

it is found that there exists some problems. So the casting process scheme was modified

and some problems in the initial trial production were solved. For completely solving the problems

the mold structure of hand open die was designed. The re-trial production verified that the second process scheme completely solved the problems. The second process scheme could obtain the products with uniform appearance and intrinsic quality.
