Abstract

Origination of defects in bucket teeth in squeeze casting and its countermeasures were approached. The experimental results show that it is very important of processing parameters and structure design in squeezing casting on quality of squeezing casting bucket teeth. With the preheating temperature of die of 250±10 ℃

the pouring temperature of 1 620 ℃ and the forming pressure of 100 MPa for 17 s

through reasonably controlling the flow velocity in the ingate with sector structure

the defects occurred in bucket teeth by squeeze casting can be eliminated effectively.
