Effects of Different Die Casting Processes on AE44 Magnesium Alloy
- “In the field of high-pressure die-casting of magnesium alloys, researchers have revealed the relationship between process parameters, microstructure, and mechanical properties through three-dimensional reconstruction and two-dimensional characterization. Research has shown that increasing casting pressure can significantly reduce the porosity of the core, while tearing ridges mainly evolve from slip bands pre crystallized in the compression chamber. This discovery provides important guidance for optimizing the magnesium alloy die-casting process.”
