β-Pb and the segregation of Pb block

and grain size exhibits coarse with high un-even microstructure.In the monotectic alloy prepared under the strong pulse current field

the serious segregated Pb phases are transformed into short rods with dense distribution.In the microgravity field of the monotectic alloy

Pb block is converted into long strip with sparse distribution and even structures as well as coarse grain size.The compositions of the monotectic alloys prepared by the strong pulse current and microgravity composite field are mainly composed ofα-Cu andβ-Pb

and grain size exhibits equiaxed structure with uniform distribution.The friction and wear experiments show that the Cu-37.4 Pb monotectic alloy prepared by the compound field has the lower friction coefficient and wear volume

and the friction performance exhibits desirable.
