    Abstract

    The operating life of plunger are a common problems in die casting process, In this paper, through the theoretic analysis, replace the spheroidal cast iron by medium carbon steel. The life of plunger be increased six times to ten times than the original state. The economical benifit and societal efficiency are goodly.
