Abstract
The fundamental principle to develop a foundry coating is to promote the sintering of refractory particles which are burned on the casting surface
then to establish suitable conditions on which the burn-on layer could convert into ready strippable one. A clean casting surface is obtained.When this theory was applied to the development of the foundry coating for copper alloy casting
a very effective and low-cast coating was developed and also the potentiality of wide application in copper alloy casting is shown.
