Abstract
The microstructures of hypereutectic Al-Si alloys under rotary magnetic field have been studied. Experimental results show the primary Si grain can be refined
and the specimen surface a rich primary Si area can be obtained. So wear property of the alloys is improved. The better effect may be obtained when rotary inagnetic field condition unite with modification with phosphorus.
