Abstract

The change of the colloidal silicate in heating and its action on permeable cermet have been investigated and compared with the ethyl silicate binder. The results of the test have shown that the operating technology for colloidal silicate binding is comparatively simple and the strength and gas permeability of the mold are comparatively good.
