Abstract

Computer simulation of the rigging and solidification of investement castings offers tremendous potential in time and cost savings for investment casting factories

which are now making it possible to make castings optimally with very short lead times and very few money. Details of the simulation method has been given

and some case studies of actual investment casting simulations have been presented in this paper.
