    Abstract

    The effect of JGJ-3 refining agent containing RE on refining A1-Cu alloy has been studied. The results show that this smokeless,smellless and nonpoisonous refining agent can replace hex- achloroethane to be used in Al-alloy effectuately,and the casting with grade-1 pinhole can be obtained.
