    Abstract

    Solidification range of resin based pattern waxes for I/C process has been studied by test ing and theoretical analysis. The present work indicated that softening temperature （Tsf） of the resin based pattern waxes can be used to express their melting temperature, and glass transition point （T.） is taken as solidfication temperature. The range （T,-T.） mesured by thermoanalysis or DSC methods is crystallization interval, while T.f-Tg is solidification range.
