    Abstract

    Applications of numerical simulation technique offer a new tool for casting technological design. Through the flowing and temperature field calculation the criteria can function to find the casting defect located easily. And then an optimized casting technology could be taken to shorten the preproduce cycle, increase the product quality and reduce the cost.
