摘要

通过对分流锥失效形式和机理的分析，探索提高分流锥使用寿命的途径和措施，发现通过真空淬火、回火以及离子氮化处理可以显著提高分流锥的使用寿命。

Abstract

Based on failure analysis of the stream distribution cone

subsequently used in the gravity die casting for making aluminium alloy wheel hub

measures of enhancing the service life of the cone were proposed. It was shown that vacuum quench and temper as well as ion nitriding could markedly increase the cone’s service life.
