The flow speed distribution of Ti15V3Cr3Sn3Al (Ti153) alloy melt poured in permanent mould druing centrifugal casting process has been analyzed. The relation between the filling speed
time and the filling length
as well as the maximum critical angular velocity 0max and the mould diameter D
the length L are concluded. Calculation results show that the filling speed and the filling time are the function of the filling length during centrifugal casting process
and increase with the increase of the filling length. The maximum critical angular velocity decrease with the increase of the cavity length and diameter. Experimental results show that gas holes have been formed when angular velocity is equal to 280 r/min. Furthermore
calculation results are verified.
