Research on Castability of Dental Titanium Containing Nickle Based Ceramic Metal Alloys
The castability of two kinds of titanium containing NCT1 and titanium free(NC1)nickle based ceramometal alloys without beryllium was investigated.The castability was tested through mesh monitor test method (MMTM)and lamellae casting(LC).The castability of the two alloys was evaluated through counting the rim numbers of mesh and numbers of completely cast lamellae.The results showed that 100%castability of NCT1and NC1 was achieved using MMTM and that 97.5%castability of NC1 and 95%castability of NCT1 was gained without statistical difference in the castability of two alloys.The results suggested that there were no significantly negative effects on the castability of nickle based alloy with a little amount of titanium addition.
