Many activities in 40 years of foundation of foundry institution of Chinese mechanical engineering society were reviewed.The activities in foundry institution included three period,namely initialed,renewed,growth period.The review of the membership of the board committee,organized academy annual conference and the international conference,edited and published journal,exhibition as well as the international exchanges in every period was conducted.
